Summary/Plot: 2 aristocractic sisters in ancient Japan disguise themselves as samurai warriors to take revenge on the uncle who betrayed their family.

Recommandation: Well-written, interesting read

Poor Little Witch Girl-Marie Desplechin

Title: Poor Little Witch Girl

Author: Marie Desplechin

Main Character(s): Verbana has her grandmother's & mother's witch genes but is reluctant to be a witch.

Summary/Plot: 11 year old Verbana thinks her hereditary witchcraft is a curse that will keep her from having a normal life and marriage one day, but her mother and grandmother, who help tell/narrate the story, are eager to start her training.

Theme(s): Fantasy(Witchcraft), Interpersonal relations

Recommandation: Easy to read, see the different characters' point of view
